Peter: What are you doing(你好嗎), David(大衛)?
David: Well(很好), I`m looking at my new cell phone(我
   正在看我的新手機), It’s cool(真酷),Right(對嗎)?
Peter: Wow(哇)! ”Nokia 9320”(諾基亞9320)! Can you
   lend it to me for one day(你可以借我一天嗎)?
David: No way(不行)!

這些是我在英文自修看到的句子請高手幫我看是否有誤  如果有誤  請幫我修正  謝謝

至於(你好嗎)你可以翻→how are you doing?

"Lend" is correct here, as it is to lend it to me.

"Can I borrow your handphone for one day?"

"Can you lend your handphone to me for one day?"

These two sentences are the same meaning.

BTW, "well" in the sentence, it has no special meaning, just like this "乁...., 我正在看我的新手機".
It is a sound coming out someone when he is thinking or about to answer a question.

查了一下字典
手機的英文為cellphone而不是handphone
謝謝分享
BTW=by the way
lend是授與動詞但borrow不是
所以用法須多留意

Well, it depends on which region you are from. Some people call it "cellphone", some call it "mobile phone", and people in my place call it "handphone". They all mean the same.

"Well, ..."  (像我們一般說話時,用ㄟ (發音像英文A), 並不是好或很好的意思。)

"Do you like it?"  "Well, I am not very sure"
"Can you help me?"  "Well, I am kind of tied up right now."

It is the British English I learned. But, getting mixed with American English nowadays when watching films and TV programmes.

如果是問大衛最近好不好，問句要改成 How are you doing?
答句：
I'm doing well. 或 I'm fine. 或 (口語，非正式語法） I'm good. 或 (口語，非正式語法）Good.
