很多玩家所等的就是今天（15日），也就是HD6900系列解禁的日子，HD6900系列目前有兩個型號HD6950以及HD6970，過一陣子可能會有HD6990（單卡雙核的版本），至於這兩張卡的定位是用來取代目前的HD5870以及HD5850，也可說是AMD新款的高階卡。

此次入手的為HD6950，它與HD6970都是基於同一個核心「Cayman」，在規格時脈上有些略減，不過價格及效能定位卻是蠻漂亮的，從AMD給的簡報可以看出，HD6950剛好面對NVIDIA的產品坑洞，不管是價位或效能，NVIDIA並沒有剛好可以抗衡（差異甚小）的產品。反觀HD6970的定位居然不是為了打NVIDIA單卡王GTX580，而是抓緊了老二GTX570，反正價格定位差不多即可，玩家們應該也不是太介意，不過AMD在簡報上硬是塞了張前雙核卡王HD5970壓過GTX580，畢竟自家的簡報怎能漏氣。

AMD RADEON HD6950的規格，核心時脈為800MHz，串流處理器為22 SIMD / 1408 ALU，記憶體相當大，採用GDDR5 2GB的容量，比較有趣的是功耗的部份，不再是待機跟滿載，而是分為待機、遊戲、PowerTune滿載三部分，這個PoweTune就是新的技術，簡單的說顯卡可自行判斷所執行的軟體來調整最適當的功耗，像一般遊戲可能就低於150W，OCCT、3Dmark之類燒機軟體可能會在150W～250W之間。這部份還可以透過CCC來調整加減20%，甚至可以提昇效能！

RADEON HD6950公版的外觀其實與HD6800系列差不多，都是同款散熱器，僅有大小之別。

HD6950需吃兩個6PIN電源。

有兩個CF金手指支援CrossFireX多顯卡應用，另外有注意到嗎？在金手指的旁邊有個小小的Switch開關，分別有1跟2可以切換，這部份就是雙BIOS的調整開關，當你把開關調整到"1"就表示可以自由的更新BIOS或做其他設定，但若因為更新失敗導致無法正確開機，可以將開關調整到"2"，利用這個保護機制就可以恢復到原廠的設定並順利開機。

在輸出埠的部份相當豐富，兩個miniDisplyPort、HDMI、兩個DVI。

溫度的部份
裸測平台，室溫25度（無空調），顯卡風扇轉速預設自動控制。
待機：63度（風扇轉速30%）

Furmark燒機：維持在90度左右（風扇轉速43％）

其實HD6950的溫度控制還是不低，43％的轉速算是相當吵，且才壓在90度左右。

功耗的部份。
全機待機：123W

若以待機20W來算，Furmark所增加的功耗將近190W，當然這還得扣一些處理器運算的功耗，因為使用測試軟體燒機，所以會比遊戲時的150W還要耗電，不過顯卡就是拿來遊戲的不是嗎？150W感覺真的是還蠻低。稍後在來探討PowerTune加減20％對功耗及效能的影響。

HD6950與GTX480比較
因為HD6950剛好落在對手NV的產品坑洞，並沒有旗鼓相當的對手，所以只好拿高一階的GTX570（偽）來相較，而這個"偽"GTX570其實就是GTX480來假裝，我們都知道GTX570是GTX480的功耗改良版，除了功耗之外，兩者的效能差異甚小，因為手邊無GTX570，只好拿前單核卡王GTX480來墊一下，如果覺得有不妥，麻煩就按一下上一頁跳過這篇吧。

為了避免各位看到眼花，GTX480的比較就直接以圖表呈現。

Crysis WARHEAD

雖然打擊GTX570的任務應該由大哥HD6970來擔當，但HD6950並沒有從頭輸到尾，像惡靈古堡5（DX10）、失落的星球2（DX9）...等等，幾個部分似乎都還小贏GTX480。至於功耗的部份就免比了，GTX480肯定在數字上是大贏的XD。

超頻的部份
超頻的部份
雖然CCC控制台內可以調整時脈超頻，不過官方鎖的最高值相當保守，不知道是不是HD6950並不好超的關係，從下圖可以看出核心時脈最高值840MHz，記憶體最高1325MHz，比起預設值的800/1250MHz多出約5～6％。

看來3Dmark11的部份提昇了不少約6％，剛好是超頻過的％數。

從測試看來HD6950雖然跟"偽"GTX570有點落差，但是效能還算不錯，某些測試緊追在後甚至超前（雖然只是小部分XD），算是稱職的扮演了夾殺角色，另外值得贊許的是功耗控制的部份，待機20W以及遊戲時的150W耗電量著實的低於前一代HD5850、HD5870。目前HD6950的價格定位在美金329~349之間，折合台幣約9840～10440元，而GTX570大約是接近12000台幣。

應該6950要打560（那6870去哪了？）

不過玩Crysis一樣都是差不多等級
在實際應用方面2張卡是同級的東西，測試看看就好囉~
