Ex: Thanks to your phone call, I could get up on time this morning.
(多虧你的來電，我今早有辦法準時起床。)
跟”thank”同樣表達感謝的用字還有 “appreciate” 語氣會再更加有誠意些。用法如下:
appreciate + 感謝原因(N/Ving )
Ex: I appreciate all the help you gave us.
(我很感謝你給我們的協助。)
appreciate that + 子句
Ex: I appreciate that you gave us so much support.
(我很感謝你給我們這麼多的支持。)
⚠ 注意: appreciate 後不能接「人」，只能接「事」!
不可以說 I appreciate you (X) ，可以說 I appreciate it.(O)
感謝某人做的事。通常口語裡也可以直接說 “Appreciate it!”
另外，形容詞有表達感謝的還有 “thankful”跟”grateful ”，用法如下:
be thankful / grateful to someone for sth
be thankful/grateful that ...
Ex: I am really grateful to you for your help. (我非常感恩你幫這個忙。)
⚠ 注意: grateful的名詞為”gratitude”表「感謝；感恩之情」。
表達感謝，你可以這樣說:
enlightened I owe you a (big) favor. 我欠你一個(大)人情。
= I owe you one. = I owe you big time
”owe”除了表示我們熟知的“欠錢/債”，其實也可以表示“欠(情)”，也就是我們常在說最難還的“人情債”。”favor”有「好意；偏愛；喜愛」之意。這句話也就能解讀為「欠你一份好意/人情」。Favor也能用”one”做取代，指「一個人情/恩惠」，或是 big time 是指「非常、大程度地」，以程度來說就是一個「大人情」(= a big favor)。

ex: Thanks for not telling my mom about my awful grades, I owe you one.
(謝謝你沒告訴媽媽我爛透的成績，我欠你一個人情。)
enlightened I (really) appreciate it. 我(很)感謝。
千萬不要再說 “I appreciate you”了! 可說”I appreciate your help”。
· appreciate (v.)感激 ，後面接「事件」不可以接「人」喔。
Ex: I’ll never forget how thoughtful you were. I appreciate it.
(我永遠不會忘記妳有多麼的貼心，我很感謝。)
Ex: Please accept my gratitude for such a wonderful learning experience.
(對如此美好的學習經驗，請接受我由衷的感謝。)
enlightenedIt means a lot to me. 對我來說意義非凡。
通常別人幫了你一個大忙，且這個幫忙對你有很深遠的影響，就可以對對方說出這句 “It means a lot to me.”。|
Ex: Thanks for taking time to review my resume. It means a lot to me.
(謝謝幫我檢閱我的履歷，這對我來說意義重大，感謝。)
enlightenedI am in your debt. 我感激不盡。(因受…恩惠)
debt 本身有“借款、負債“，這裡並非是指財務上的債務，是指人際關係上的虧欠，引申為「欠人情(受...的恩惠)」 所以在“in one's debt”中是表達一種感謝的心情。

Ex: You really helped me a lot. I’ll be forever in your debt.
(你幫了我超我，我會永遠感激你。)
enlightenedThanks heaps / a lot / a million / loads / a bunch 感激不盡! / 萬分感激 (誇飾用法)
heap有 「堆，堆積」意思，口語也指「大量」~，thanks heaps大量的感謝就是指「非常感謝」。
Ex: I really appreciate that you helped me with my homework. Thanks a million.
(很感謝你協助我做功課，我萬分感謝。)

怎麼答謝都不夠，也就是「難以形容有多麼感謝」，有引申為「感激不盡」之意。
Ex: I can’t thank you enough for all that you’ve done for me.
(你所為我所做的一切，我感激不盡!)

◆ Hearty wishes on Teacher’s Day. (衷心祝福您教師節快樂。)
接受感謝，你可以這樣回答:
