英文有一字多義，而中文有一義多字，
常常一個中文字有不同的英文單字，其解釋卻不是相同的，
像是此處的英文單字其中文解釋都是和清掃與整理相關的英文字，
但其英文單字的解釋雖然類似卻是不同的。
p.s. 單字底下的英文是此字的英文解釋和例句。


動詞

clean out
to make (esp a room, box. drawer, etc.) clean and tidy.
for example: She cleaned out that rabbit's hutch.

clean up
to clean (a place) fully
for example: It's your turn to clean the kitchen.

tidy
to make neant
for example: When are you going to tidy your room up?


dust
to remove dust from (something), esp when cleaning
for example: She dusted the table.

get ready
to make (someone or something) ready, clean, etc.
for example: She got the children ready to go out.

freshen up
to cause ( oneself ) to feel more comfortable by washing
for example: I must just go and freshen myself up before dinner.

smarten up
to ( cause (oneself) to ) become clean, good-looking, neat, etc.
for example: We smartened the office up with a fresh coat of paint.


do out
to clean thoroughly
for example: She did the room out while he was away.
