Musician and producer, Porter Robinson, known for his emotional electronic music and a penchant for incorporating iconic visuals in his work, presents his latest integration of both in "Shelter" the video. A long time fan of Japanese pop culture, he teamed up with Japanese animation powerhouse, "A-1 Pictures" to create a moving story for his shimmering new collaborative single, "Shelter," with his close friend and fellow musician, Madeon.

未來的シミュレーターの中で孤獨に暮らす少女・凜（リン）は、 毎日永遠の命が続く無限の美しいバーチャルリアリティーの世界で目を覚まし、タブレットを使ってシミュレーターを操作し、自分のための新世界を空想し創造しつづけている。しかし、現実世界の凜は実は昏睡狀態にいて、その体は小さな宇宙船內のＶＲシミュレーター內に・・・

ダンスミュージックとは一線を介したこのエモーショナル且つドラマティックな旋律を奏でるエレクトリック・ポップは – 二人の若きアーティストが作り上げた音楽作品である。それは偶然だったのか、それとも必然だったのか・・・たんに音楽データを送り合うのではなく、フランスナントにあるマデオンのスタジオに二人で籠り、この楽曲を書きあげ、完成させた。その結果、「シェルター」は、彼らふたりの家族的絆の頌歌であり、友情の証を表した楽曲となっている。
“Shelter”- a brilliant shimmering, humanity-infused electronic pop - comes at a serendipitous time for the two young artists and sees the duo taking a hands-on approach to the songwriting process. To write, the two decamped to Madeon’s studio in Nantes, France and the two wrote together in real-time, face-to-face, taking a decidedly old-school approach to the collaboration, inspiring and challenging one-another along the way. The result, “Shelter” is an ode to family ties as much as it’s a pop song that epitomizes their friendship.

2010年に「セイ・マイ・ネーム」という楽曲をきっかけに、スクリレックスのレーベルOWSLAからEPを、そしてその後ザ・ケミカル・ブラザーズなどを輩出してきたレーベルAstralwerksと契約。2013年にリリースしたフル・アルバム『ワールズ』は全米チャート初登場トップ20位入りを果たす。
Musician, composer, creator, who first caught the ears of tastemakers in 2010 with his track “Say My Name.” An EP on Skrillex’s OWSLA label followed and he signed to the venerated Astralwerks in 2013 when he was all of 21. The next year he released his debut artist album, Worlds, which debuted in Billboard’s Top 20.

最近では「GRANBLUE FANTASY The Animation」のキャラクターデザインとしても活躍中。
Animator, character designer, director who's notable works include "Sound of the Sky," "Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic" (character designer and chief animation director), "Kokoro Connect" (character design), "THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS" (animation director, storyboard, direction, original sketch), etc.
Most recently, he has been involved in the character design for "GRANBLUE FANTASY The Animation."

今作にて、自身初のキャラクターデザインを擔當。
Notable works include "THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS" (chief animation director), "Vividred Operation" (key animator), "KILL la KILL," "Sword Art Online," "One-Punch Man," (original sketch) etc.
"SHELTER" will be Kouno's first project as character designer.
