　　Abel Tesfaye，衣索比亞籍的加拿大歌手兼製作人，以藝名The Weeknd而被人們所熟知，2010年底，Tesfaye以“The Weeknd”的名義在YouTube上上傳了數首歌曲。在2011年，他發行了三張九首歌的混音帶：《House Of Balloons》，《Thursday》以及《Echoes Of Slience》，受到了廣泛的好評。
